Inbound Vs Outbound Links?

Back Linking is the best SEO practice there ever was, there ever is or there will be. Well, we all might have read about it or overheard it but, what how much of it is true? The answer isevery ounce of that statement is nothing but pure truth. Back linking is indeed the best SEO practice which must be applied to your Ecommerce store.

·         Inbound Links:In plain words, these are the hyperlinks of your website that are present on many other different websites. Clicking on these, directly lead a customer to the doorstep of your website.

o   Ways to build them:

§  You can place your website hyperlinks on different websites in the footer section.

§  You can get your website mentions with hyperlinks on different company blogs or on the blogs of renowned bloggers.

§  Internal page linking: This can be done by placing various links of your website pages on many different pages of your own website. For example: on your “about us” page you mention a hyperlink saying “get in touch with us now” which points to your “contact us” page.

·         Benefits: Even a single backlink spikes up the global rank of your website tremendously. Higher the global rank, better chances of getting listed on the first page of Google.

·         Outbound Links: These hold the total opposite definition of what inbound links stand for. These are links that originate on your websites but, point to some other website.

§  It is the same as the inbound links, the only difference is this time you will be the one adding them to your website at your discretion.

·         Benefits: Linking to websites belonging to the same niche, creates a good impression in front of google crawlers. Linking to different and informative blogs that really help out a customer can work in your advantage.

Conclusion: Well it is a very simple process and we can without a hitch derive to a conclusion that, you should get as many inbound links from legitimate websites as possible. In case of outbound links, limit the total number, do not go rogue and add too many, but add the ones that actually help the users.
